Shramm and I are thrilled to present “The Self Isolation Remixes”.

A little more than a month ago, to connect with people locked down in self-isolation all around the globe, we asked producers and musicians to remix the last track of our EP “Komponent”. The idea behind this call was simply to create beauty together and to show that music can be much more than simple fun, that it can be therapeutic, connecting humans, letting feel them less lonely and vulnerable. Well, we are literally struck by the response, this means the idea was genuine and we are just so overjoyed about it.

The Playlist was intended to be genre-free, so we’ve got remixes from electronic to neo-classical, from post-rock to minimal techno and they were made in Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Serbia, Romania, Russia, Japan, South Korea, United States, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and the list it’s in constant update. This is well above all expectations.

The Playlist is now public here on Soundcloud: you can listen to it, share it and talk about it. There is no first, no last, everyone that was able to elaborate sounds was welcome, that’s why we’ll keep on mixing the order of the tracks, to let everyone feel part of this.

Since the quarantine is not really over and we don’t know what will come next, we’ll keep the Playlist open, so you can still send us your remix and be part of it.
