Shramm and I are thrilled to present “The Self Isolation Remixes”.

A few months ago, to connect with people locked down in self-isolation all around the globe, we asked producers and musicians, to remix “Tell Me Something” the last track of our EP “Komponent”. The idea behind this call was simply to create beauty together and to show music can be much more than simple fun, that it can be therapeutic, connecting humans and helping us all feel less isolated. Well, we are amazed by the response, this means the idea resonated and are so overjoyed.

The original SoundCloud Playlist was intended to be genre-free, so we’ve got remixes from electronic to neo-classical, from post-rock to minimal techno and they were made in Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Turkey, Greece, Serbia, Romania, Russia, Japan, South Korea, United States, Colombia, Chile, Argentina – this is above all expectations.

We decided to master the 18 best remixes, chosen from nearly 70 incredible pieces of work. Enjoy this release, and don’t forget to show some love to all the artists that made this possible.
